At Mughal Arts, our Shipping Policy is designed to ensure that every order of handcrafted Kashmiri papier-mâché and artisan décor reaches you safely and on time. Below you’ll find complete information about shipping destinations, delivery timelines, processing, tracking, packaging, and support.
We Ship Worldwide
We deliver Mughal Arts products to customers across the world. All orders are packed carefully in Srinagar, Kashmir, and shipped using reliable courier partners to help ensure safe delivery.
Destinations We Serve
We ship to the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, Canada, Australia, the Middle East (including UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar), Singapore, Japan, other parts of Asia, and other international destinations on request.
Shipping Carriers
Standard shipping — India Post. All standard orders ship via India Post (India’s national postal service), our default courier for every destination.
Free shipping. Orders over $100 (or the equivalent in your selected currency) ship free via India Post. Orders under $100 are charged a flat shipping rate calculated at checkout, based on weight and destination.
Faster shipping — DHL Express. For customers in the USA, Europe, UK, Canada, Australia, or Japan who need it faster than India Post, DHL Express delivers in 3–5 working days. This isn’t a standard checkout default — write to us after placing your order if you’d like to switch to DHL, and we’ll arrange it for an additional 20% of your order’s product value, charged as the DHL shipping line. FedEx International is also available on request for select destinations.
Estimated Delivery Times
Using our standard India Post service: roughly 2–5 business days within India, and 10–20 business days to the US, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, and Japan (where DHL Express is also available for faster delivery — see above). Other destinations typically take 15–25 business days. These are estimates, not guarantees — customs processing in your country can add time we can’t control.
Order Processing Time
Every product page shows whether a piece is Ready to Ship or Made to Order, so you know the timeline before you buy.
- Ready to Ship: in stock and dispatched within 1–3 working days of order confirmation.
- Made to Order: handcrafted by our artisans after you order and dispatched within 20–45 working days of order confirmation.
Custom Products & Processing Delays
Custom, personalized, bulk, and made-to-order products usually take 20–45 working days to prepare before shipment, depending on design, quantity, finishing, and packaging requirements. This processing time is separate from shipping transit time and begins only after order confirmation and receipt of complete customization details.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been shipped, we will send a tracking number to your email or phone number, where available. You can use that tracking number on the courier’s official website to monitor shipment progress.
Customs & Import Duties
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or local handling fees in the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in product prices or shipping charges unless clearly stated otherwise.
Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, or if your shipment appears lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We will coordinate with the shipping carrier and assist with resolution, replacement, or next steps where applicable.
Returns & Refunds

Packaging & Handling
Every order is packed with care to protect delicate handcrafted items during transit. Fragile products receive extra wrapping and cushioning, and we aim to use secure packaging suitable for international delivery.
