These blue papier mache Santa ornaments give Father Christmas a fresh, playful palette. Three papier mache Santa figures in graduated sizes, hand-painted in periwinkle blue with a green hat, white beard and a yellow polka-dot sack, hung from golden cords with pink silk tassels.
Handmade in Kashmir
Every ornament begins as layers of paper pulp shaped by hand and left to dry. Our naqash then smooths the surface and paints each design freehand with fine brushes before sealing it with a protective lacquer. Because every piece is made by hand in our Srinagar workshop, small differences in color and pattern make yours one of a kind.
How to Display It
Hang your blue papier mache Santa ornaments on the Christmas tree, a wreath or a mantel garland. As a set of three in graduated sizes, they make a joyful festive gift, a stocking filler or the start of a new family tradition.
