Posh e Bagh

Posh e Bagh means “flowers of the garden” (posh is the Kashmiri word for flower). The design gathers many kinds of garden blooms into one composition, painted in bright colours and finished with lacquer.

You will find it on wall plates, bracelet boxes, bridesmaid gift boxes, trays and baubles. Each piece is painted freehand in Srinagar, so the arrangement of flowers differs from piece to piece.
