Gulandar Gul

Gulandar Gul means “flower within flower”. The design is built from layered blooms, with smaller flowers and petals painted inside larger ones, often arranged around a central medallion. The result has a depth and symmetry that sets it apart from all-over florals such as Hazara.

Many of our Gulandar Gul pieces are also embossed, so the flowers sit slightly raised and catch the light. You will find it on keepsake and trinket boxes, medallion jewellery boxes and larger pieces such as room dividers. See also Embossed Art.
