About Kashmiri Paper Mache
Kashmiri paper mache (papier mache) is shaped from layers of paper pulp, dried and smoothed, then painted in the traditional Naqashi style with fine brushes. A single box can take days to finish, so no two are exactly alike.
Uses and Gifting
Use it to store jewelry, keepsakes, letters or small accessories, or display it on a dresser or console. It makes a memorable gift for a wedding, housewarming, birthday or festive occasion.
Care
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Keep away from water, direct sunlight and heat. Colours and patterns may vary slightly because each box is handmade.
