This chinar wall plate is a 12-inch round plate hand-painted in Kashmir, with fine green leafy vines and small red flowers spread across a warm gold ground and finished with a gold rim. The chinar, Kashmir’s beloved plane tree, has inspired the valley’s artists for generations, and its graceful leaves are a favorite motif in Kashmiri craft.
