About Kashmiri Paper Mache

Kashmiri paper mache (papier mache) is shaped from layers of paper pulp, dried and smoothed, then painted in the traditional Naqashi style with fine brushes. A single box can take days to finish, so no two are exactly alike.

Uses and Gifting

Use it to store jewelry, keepsakes, letters or small accessories, or display it on a dresser or console. It makes a memorable gift for a wedding, housewarming, birthday or festive occasion.

Care

Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Keep away from water, direct sunlight and heat. Colours and patterns may vary slightly because each box is handmade.

Give this Purple Floral Paper Mache Box pride of place on a dressing table or console, or present it as a keepsake gift for a wedding, anniversary or housewarming.
