This teal and gold papier mache heart ornament is covered in delicate gold filigree-style painting. A papier mache heart in teal covered with delicate gold filigree-style painting, hung from a golden cord with a pink tassel.
Handmade in Kashmir
Kashmiri papier mache is made the traditional way: paper pulp is molded by hand, dried, smoothed and then painted freehand by skilled naqash artists. A coat of lacquer gives the glossy finish and protects the painting. No two pieces are exactly alike, so expect small, charming variations from the photos.
