This lavender papier mache heart ornament is soft and pretty, with a coral flower at its center. A hand-painted papier mache heart in soft lavender and blue tones with a coral centre flower and gold detailing, hung from a golden cord with a pink tassel.
Handmade in Kashmir
Every ornament begins as layers of paper pulp shaped by hand and left to dry. Our naqash then smooths the surface and paints each design freehand with fine brushes before sealing it with a protective lacquer. Because every piece is made by hand in our Srinagar workshop, small differences in color and pattern make yours one of a kind.
How to Display It
Hang your lavender papier mache heart ornament on the Christmas tree, a door handle, a window latch or a mirror, or tie it onto a present as a keepsake gift tag. It makes a sweet Valentine’s, anniversary or wedding favor gift that lasts for years.
